- Artist Information Biography 8bit Cynics is an eccentric indie Hip Hop duo with roots deeply planted in the southwest. They came together in early 2005 when producer saevio.is.dead (Will Watkins; Lawton, Oklahoma) met up with emcee Chuy(Jesse McDermott; Las Cruces, New Mexico). This talented duo has continued to put out quality material with a "do it yourself" attitude on booking tours and record sales. With a unique live show of socially conscience, introspective rhymes and live instrumentation, the 8bit Cynics have established themselves as one of the best up-and-coming Hip Hop acts in the Southwest. They have had the privilege of sharing the stage with many other influential acts such as MarsILL, Blu, DJ Element, Mac Lethal, Astronautalis, L.A. Symphony, RedCloud, Culture Shock Camp, Rob Viktum, Braille, 2Live Crew, Josh Martinez, Sleep, Mr. Dibbs, and many more.
