- Artist Information Biography 8bit Cynics is an eccentric indie Hip Hop duo with roots deeply planted in the southwest. They came together in early 2005 when producer saevio.is.dead (Will Watkins; Lawton, Oklahoma) met up with emcee Chuy(Jesse McDermott; Las Cruces, New Mexico). This talented duo has continued to put out quality material with a "do it yourself" attitude on booking tours and record sales. With a unique live show of socially conscience, introspective rhymes and live instrumentation, the 8bit Cynics have established themselves as one of the best up-and-coming Hip Hop acts in the Southwest.
